About
My name is Helder Dias and I am a 59-year-old specialist exercise professional with a mission – to help individuals aged 60+ to become the best version of themselves for their age.
I find it very rewarding to see people becoming able to slow down the body’s ageing effects, gain strength, core stability and flexibility, thus contributing towards improving quality of life during their golden years.
My relevant credentials, which include my own age and life experience, make me ideally qualified to assist people up to my age group and much older, who wish to adopt a healthy lifestyle towards improving their physical and even mental health & fitness. I know first hand how difficult it can be to adhere to programs and change lifestyles, especially if struggling with the effects of body ageing and/or anxiety and depression. Physical exercise can go a long way in improving self-efficacy amongst all the other primary health benefits, as supported by science.
I have been based in Windsor since 2012, and all training is provided in my private studio.
Up until 2021, most of my clients were either aged between 75 and 85, some with delicate medical conditions (from arrhythmia, osteoporosis to Alzheimer’s) or younger adults struggling with obesity. All experienced significant overall health & fitness improvements.
My qualifications (certificates and diplomas) include:
-
First Aid
-
Gym Instructor (level 2)
-
Personal Training (level 3)
-
Exercise Referral (level 3)
-
Obesity & Diabetes Management (level 4)
-
Strength & Conditioning (level 4)
